Job Description
Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Profession: Technologist

Experience: 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience required
License: Massachusetts Radiology License required
Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) required


Must-Have:
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic formats required.
- Experience with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
- Competency in operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
- Ability to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.


Description:
This position primarily requires CT skills, with X-ray experience also necessary.
Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
Demonstrate initiative in applying appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis.
Be responsible for proper care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
May have assigned responsibilities by supervisory staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control in compliance with departmental standards.
Complete annual mandatory education, including topics such as blood borne pathogens and infection control.
Maintain department competencies as required.
Be willing to consider other duties during low census within the scope of practice.
Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
