RN Clinical Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality patient care. This is a leadership position that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering patient care according to established protocols and standards Monitor patient progress and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients Conduct regular performance evaluations of nursing staff and provide feedback for professional development Assist in resolving patient care issues and address any concerns or complaints from patients or their families Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities Qualifications Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio Proven experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure Knowledge of specialized areas such as dementia care, ophthalmology, sterile processing, etc. Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health records systems Note: This job description is not intended to be all‑inclusive.
