Physical Therapist
needed for a 24 hour per week contract
opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Reno, NV.
This job is ongoing until further notice - anticipating at least a year.

Provide white glove concierge services within a private, employer-sponsored primary care and occupational-health clinic serving employees and their families (ages 2+). The clinic provides a blend of primary care services, musculoskeletal care, injury evaluation, and limited workers' compensation support. You'll work alongside a team that provides injury prevention, case management/evaluation/treatment, general wellness, and health promotion.

--> Shifts needed: 3 days a week - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Minimum (3) years' experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
• Prior occupational health and workers' compensation experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach, counsel, and educate employees on topics related to healthy living

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support employees for MSK related injuries (back, shoulder, elbows, etc.)
• Assist in prevention and treatment of work-related injuries, ergonomics coaching, job site evaluations, health promotion, general wellness, and fitness programs promotion
• Case management and counseling the patient population
• Work closely with stakeholders including safety officers, ergonomists, human resources, and other vendors to promote employee safety in the workplace
• Lead educational initiatives surrounding injury prevention, well-being, and other topics; develop and administer injury prevention and health promotion presentations, workshops, or other programming for employees
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Licensure with the State of Nevada as a Physical Therapist
• CPR/BLS certified (hands on courses only)
• Yearly TB test or QuantiFERON Gold
• Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
