Job Description Job Description Mental Health Technician (MHT) *Starting at $17.00/HR* We are currently looking for Mental Health Technicians (MHT) for the Acute Care Unit. As an MHT with Mental Health Services, you will participate in establishing and maintaining a therapeutic milieu and treatment processes for adolescents, adults, SMD and geriatric patients on the unit. MHT's are responsible for participating in groups with patients, ensuring their safety, and helping to engage patients to prepare for discharge to the community. FT or PT (3rd shift) PRN (All shifts, weekends) *PRN must be able to work a flexible schedule, and commit to at least 1 shift per month, 1 weekend shift per month, and at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday when needed. All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children), 5-panel drug screen and residential staff must have 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
