Administrative Clerk (Construction/Electrical)

Location:  Homer City, PA
Hire Type:  Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $24–$27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Work Environment : In-office and on-site at an active construction site

About the Opportunity

Sterling Engineering is looking for an Administrative Clerk in Homer City, PA. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, proactive individual with strong data entry and administrative skills who enjoys working with a team in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively with field engineering personnel.

Job Duties

• Provide administrative support to the field engineering team.
• Organize, update, and maintain project documentation and spreadsheets.
• Assist with general administrative tasks and data tracking.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support daily project operations.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and construction personnel.
• Perform duties in both an office setting and an active construction site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong data entry experience and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
• Ability to work well with individuals across different teams and departments.
• Electrical industry experience preferred.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold environments, at an active construction site.
