Part-Time Community Outreach Representative

Hank Gerdes State Farm Agency is looking for energetic, outgoing college students to join our team as Part-Time Community Outreach Representatives. This is a paid, hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales, marketing, communication, and lead generation. You will work in selected neighborhoods in the Buda and Belterra/Dripping Springs areas, going door-to-door and introducing residents to our local State Farm agency. Your goal is to identify people who are interested in receiving an insurance quote and collect their contact information so our licensed team can follow up. You will not be selling insurance or providing insurance advice. No insurance license is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned residential neighborhoods
• Introduce yourself and the Hank Gerdes State Farm Agency in a friendly, professional manner
• Ask residents if they are interested in comparing their current insurance rates
• Gather contact information from interested prospects
• Accurately submit leads to our office for follow-up
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing our agency
• Work toward a goal of 2 or more qualified leads per hour
• Participate in brief training and coaching to improve communication and lead-generation skills
