Community Organizer

Recruit and engage members, develop community leaders, support grassroots organizing campaigns, and build relationships with immigrant families and low-wage workers. Conduct outreach, facilitate meetings and trainings, and support local and statewide organizing efforts. Additional Areas of Responsibility: Coordinate events and community actions, maintain member engagement, support coalition work, assist with leadership development programs, track program metrics, and contribute to campaign planning and implementation. Other Information/Requirements: Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and facilitation skills. Commitment to social, economic, and racial justice. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation required. Evening and weekend work may be necessary.
