Direct Sales Representative - West Houston, TX

Abbott seeks a field-based Medical Device Sales Representative for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Houston, Texas. The role involves promoting and selling cardiac devices to healthcare providers, building client relationships, and driving territory growth through consultative selling and account development.
Responsibilities
- Contact and educate physicians, laboratories, distributors, and hospitals on cardiac device products
- Develop and execute business plans to identify and cultivate new accounts within territory
- Provide medical professionals with product training, in-services, and technical support
- Monitor competitor activity, analyze sales data, and prepare reports and administrative documentation
- Attend trade shows and conferences to demonstrate products and network with clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent
- Two or more years of sales or clinical support experience in healthcare
- Ability to analyze and evaluate complex medical devices
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of medical device industry policies and procedures
- Proven track record influencing customer purchasing decisions
- Proficiency with personal computer programs and relevant applications
Compensation: $43,900 - $109,200 base
