Job Overview and QualificationsIn the role of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will carry out essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages suffering from cardiopulmonary conditions. As a vital member of the patient-centered care team, your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on respiratory equipment, implementing quality control measures, and handling various administrative or technical tasks.
- Set up and operate different types of respiratory care devices.
- Conduct a variety of technical procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics.
- Show proficiency in proper airway management.
- Assess patients accurately, interpret results, and recommend alternative respiratory treatments.
- Demonstrate skill in routine patient evaluations and recognize respiratory dysfunction effectively.
- Act as a respiratory care protocol assessor by delivering therapy, reassessing patients promptly, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Engage in regular communication with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient care plans and updates.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential.
- State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner license (RRT/RCP).
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
No travel is required for this position.

Our organization operates a full-service medical center that provides comprehensive healthcare at multiple locations.
