Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a long-term assignment, requiring 18 months of recent experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Electrophysiology/Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Handles 15-20 cases per day including cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, Mitral Clips, and CTO procedures
• Uses equipment such as Balloon Pump, Impella, Volcano, AngioJet, ICE, and Laser
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 36 hrs/week
• Rotating on-call required for week nights and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• CVOR candidates must have strong endovascular experience and proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures

• Perform cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures including TAVR, Mitral Clip, and CTO interventions

• Does not accept local candidates; 50-mile radius rule applies
• Former Emory staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
