Sales Estimator

Job Summary: Support Sales (a.k.a. Business Development) team on new RFQ opportunities. Is also responsible for preparing quotes when requested, for existing customer base. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in weekly Sales staff meetings. Work directly with people of all levels both internally and externally to gather information for quotes. Review pricing for existing programs and requote as needed. Review all components of the manufacturing process and alert management team of concerns. Be responsive to customer needs and follow through on all aspects of customer requests, both written and verbal. Prepare quote package for management review and, upon approval, arrange for quote to be sent to customer. Additional Responsibilities: Process quotes from Program Management overflow. When requested, may work on special projects and various related assignments. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Enter values into the Master Quote Log as appropriate. Education, Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business/Technical or equivalent in education and experience. Excellent written communication skills. Must be a proficient communicator and listener. Need to have excellent relationship-building skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong organization skills.
