Through its portfolio of RISC-V processor IP, software tools, and custom silicon platforms, MIPS helps customers design high-performance, power-efficient solutions from architecture to silicon.Summary of Role:We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth with Data Center customers in the Bay Area. Responsibility includes driving new business opportunities and managing key customer relationships, from early engagement through deal closure.Essential Responsibilities:Drive Business GrowthIdentify, develop, and close new opportunities for Data Center customers in the Bay AreaLead the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement to contract executionFocus on strategic engagements including:Processor IP solutionsCustom siliconSoftware toolsOwn Strategic Customer RelationshipsAct as primary account owner for key Data Center customersBuild strong relationships across engineering, purchasing, and executive levelsDevelop and execute account strategies aligned with customer roadmapsEngage & Position SolutionsWork closely with customer engineering teams to understand system requirementsPosition MIPS' value propositionTranslate technical requirements into compelling commercial proposalsBuild and Manage PipelineDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunitiesEnsure accurate forecasting and CRM managementTrack progress toward revenue targetsCollaborate Across TeamsPartner with engineering, product management, marketing, and foundry teamsAlign internal stakeholders to drive successful customer engagementsProvide input to product roadmap based on market and customer needsOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:Experience10+ years in business development, sales, or account managementBackground in: Semiconductor Processor IP or ASIC/SoC SalesProven success in closing complex, high-value dealsTechnical ExpertiseStrong understanding of Data Center system architectures & systemsFamiliarity with processor IP and silicon development flowsSkillsStrong customer engagement and negotiation capabilitiesAbility to operate independently and manage multiple opportunitiesExcellent communication bridging technical and commercial topicsExpected Salary Range$167,000.00 - $275,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
