Job Summary

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join the team at our restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, lead them to their seats, and inform them of any specials. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Pace has been serving up locally farmed all organic Italian / Californian delectables for 26 yrs and counting. Nestled in the basement of a 130 yrs old building situated in the middle of Laurel Canyon, Pace offers a unique LA dining experience and hopefully fond memories. Grazie Tutti!

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a smile and inform them of the wait time
• Seat guests at their tables, taking into consideration server availability and guest needs
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of any available specials
• Accept payment for meals and operate the cash register

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is required
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
