Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly, efficient service to residents, families, and coworkers Ensure accurate and timely meal service Set up assigned workstations and food service areas Brew coffee, fill beverages, and stock supplies Prepare, portion, and label resident meals Understand and follow residents’ dietary restrictions Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas Assist with special functions and events Remove trash and follow sanitation procedures Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations Attend required meetings and in-services Maintain professional demeanor and punctuality Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Serve Safe certification preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service industry Knowledge of recipes and food production processes Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs Manual dexterity for handling kitchen equipment and utensils Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Non-Physical Demands: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Commitment to maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere Summary Willow Gardens, a specialized memory care residence and proud member of the United Hebrew of New Rochelle campus, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker (Dietary Aide) to join our Culinary Services team.
