Morning Shift Line WorkerAs a Morning Shift Line Worker at The Ziegenfelder Company, you'll play a key role in our production process, ensuring our frozen novelties meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are committed to maintaining excellence in every task.Essential FunctionsPlace sealed individual units into packaging and ensure proper sealingRepackage products that are improperly sealed or codedDispose of scrap products and raw materials appropriatelyMaintain a clean and organized work areaComply with all federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety policiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)Prior experience in food service or production preferredPhysical RequirementsStand for up to 8 hours per shiftRegularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.Perform bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motionsWork safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awarenessWorking ConditionsExposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)Compensation & BenefitsStarting Pay: $16.75/hourSchedule: 40 hours per week with set days offBenefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment401(k) with company matchingEmployee discountsPaid holidaysWho We AreThe Ziegenfelder Company is part of the Armstrong Group, a family-owned organization founded in 1946.
