About this role:

Nova Sky Stories is seeking a hands-on Video Producer to lead and scale the company's video content ecosystem. This role will own the planning, capture, production, organization, and distribution of video content that showcases Nova's drone shows, technology, brand, and storytelling capabilities across social media, web, sales, sponsorship initiatives, recruiting, client deliverables, and internal channels.

The ideal candidate is equal parts producer, content strategist, and project manager—someone who understands every stage of video production and can identify opportunities, coordinate crews, manage editors, direct shoots, and occasionally jump in to capture or create content directly. This person will become Nova's lead for video production and content capture, ensuring the company consistently captures and leverages its most valuable visual assets.

As a Video Producer , you’ll be responsible for: 

• Own Nova's end-to-end video content planning and production workflows across marketing, social media, web, sponsorship, and internal communications.
• Develop capture plans and shot priorities for key drone shows, special events, product launches, behind-the-scenes content, and company initiatives to ensure Nova consistently builds high-value reusable content.
• Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, Sales, Production, and Leadership teams to identify content opportunities and ensure key moments are captured.
• Oversee post-production workflows including editing, motion graphics, approvals, versioning, and platform-specific content delivery. This includes archive management.
• Scope and manage freelance shooters, editors, or production partners as needed to expand Nova’s content capacity.
• Create and maintain an organized video asset library, ensuring footage is properly archived, tagged, and easily accessible across the company.
• Develop content packages optimized for social media platforms, websites, presentations, sponsorship decks, recruiting efforts, and brand campaigns.
• Travel to key shows and events as needed to direct, oversee, or personally capture high-priority content.
• Build scalable processes that allow Nova to consistently produce high-quality content while supporting rapid company growth.

You’ll need to have: 

• 5+ years of experience producing video content from concept through delivery, ideally across branded content, live events, entertainment, sports, or experiential environments.
• Strong hands-on understanding of field production, post-production, and content asset organization and distribution.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent productions and balancing fast-turn needs with longer-lead content development.
• Comfort directing shoots, briefing editors, and making editorial decisions that align with business goals.
• Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
• Strong editorial judgment and an eye for compelling visual storytelling across brand, event, and documentary-style content.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with minimal direction.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience producing content for entertainment, live events, sports, experiential marketing, festivals, or large-scale productions.
• Drone videography or aerial production experience.
• Experience building content libraries and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems.
• Familiarity with social media content optimization and platform-specific storytelling.
• Experience creating content that supports sales, sponsorship, and brand development efforts.
• Experience building lightweight internal content operations inside a fast-growing company.

Salary Range: $105,00-–$120,000 USD
