This role includes operating dozers, excavators, and finish equipment on a variety of construction projects. Candidates must be proficient with both GPS-controlled and non-GPS equipment and be willing to travel to job sites as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and finish graders safely and efficientlyPerform fine grading, site preparation, and earthwork to meet project specificationsUtilize GPS machine control systems for precision grading (where applicable)Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specificationsConduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenanceWork closely with site supervisors and team members to ensure project timelines are metFollow all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsQualificationsMinimum 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (dozer, excavator, finish equipment)Experience with GPS and non-GPS equipment requiredStrong understanding of grading, excavation, and site developmentAbility to read blueprints and grade stakesValid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)Must be willing and able to travel frequentlyStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailPreferred SkillsExperience with Topcon, or similar GPS systemsPrevious work on commercial or large-scale civil construction projectsAbility to work in varying weather and job site conditionsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunities for advancementHealth, dental, and vision insurance
