Job Responsibilities - Your Mission

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, diagnose errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure samples are prepared effectively for testing.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or students, and help maintain stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your current certification throughout your employment.
