What You’ll Do Prepares and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposal including logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements as required; receives, analyzes, and recommends approval of bids most advantageous to Rosendin. Processes difficult and unique purchasing transactions according to state laws, federal statutes, policies, and procedures established by Rosendin. Assists departments with specification development, drafts RFP. Reviews, analyzes and approves all purchases where award is not made to the low bidder to ensure justification exists and policy is followed. Reviews, analyzes, researches and approves purchases of a non-competitive nature. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of deficiency and take corrective action. and plan all aspects of purchasing from project award to closeout. company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers and professional service providers. and oversee execution of the purchasing buy-out. the maintenance of records of goods ordered and received. with estimating management, design professionals and site management. feedback to assist in analyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability. and enforce procurement policies and procedures to project team. for projections, financial planning, expediting, delivery schedules and project purchasing reporting. the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables. be able to provide supervision to buyer / expeditor when necessary. duty and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. What You’ll Need to Be Successful Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must exhibit supervisory skills Work independently with minimum supervision Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude Oral and written communication skills as required for the position Self‑motivated, proactive and an effective team player Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others What You Bring to Us Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related discipline Minimum 5 years electrical construction purchasing experience Combination of education, training and relevant experience Working Conditions General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
