Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring Cerner experience and a compact or Mississippi RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3/2 alternating schedule with 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next, including alternating weekends
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
