Your Role Will Involve

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in partnership with physicians or independently, subject to your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families focused on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care
• Accurately and thoroughly documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Illinois
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to acquire them within 90 days)
