Senior Data Analyst

Data Analyst - Investment Banking Industry Exp Minimum BSc in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years asset management / investment banking industry experience Excellent data analysis skills (investigation, modelling, mapping, and gap analysis) Excellent experience across relevant data technologies such as SQL and Python (with Pandas) to execute data wrangling, investigations, and manipulations on very large, fast moving data sets Strong experience in Data Management, particularly Data Governance initiatives around ongoing Data Quality improvement. Experience or exposure to Data Architecture initiatives 3 - 5 years of demonstrated data experience with financial instruments (fixed income including Munis & mortgage-backed, equity and derivatives), indices and associated asset management data (issuers, classifications, prices, ratings). Preferably obtained in the Asset Management industry Clear and effective communicator, both orally and in written output Experience leading a team for either run or project purposes Experience defining and managing deliverables to requirements Highly proficient or expert in Bloomberg data products (Back Office files, Per Security, Terminal) Experience with complementary data expertise such as data visualisation, data mart / warehousing or business intelligence tools Complementary Business Analysis and Technical Analysis skills specifically related to investment data requirements Preferred Qualifications Legal entity data expertise and familiarity with the Bloomberg Credit Risk file Index & constituent data expertise across index vendors Experience with other data vendor products beyond Bloomberg (alternative security reference data providers) Experience with leading Enterprise Data Management systems such as Bloomberg PolarLake (highly preferred) or Markit EDM / Cadis Experience or exposure to other programming tool sets, e.g. Samprasoft
