As we continue to grow our local brands throughout the Minneapolis market, we're looking for an experienced and driven Home Services Operations Manager to lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of skilled trades professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who thrives on developing people, improving performance, and building scalable systems that support long-term growth. We're seeking someone who can create accountability, elevate the customer experience, and help drive the next phase of growth across our service operations. We are specifically seeking experienced home services leaders and welcome candidates with backgrounds in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical operations. While the selected candidate will ultimately lead a specific trade department, we're less focused on the exact trade and more focused on finding a strong operational leader who understands how to build teams, develop field talent, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

As the Home Services Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a skilled trades department, leading technicians, driving operational performance, supporting recruiting efforts, and building the systems and structure needed to support continued growth. You'll play a key role in developing future leaders, improving customer satisfaction, and helping scale the business throughout the Minneapolis market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of skilled trades professionals to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build, recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top talent to support continued market growth.
• Create a high-performance culture centered on accountability, teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, productivity, and execution.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve revenue, profitability, technician performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leadership, sales, dispatch, and customer support teams to align operational execution with company objectives.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field audits, and job site visits to support employee development and maintain quality standards.
• Drive accountability around safety, compliance, licensing requirements, and company policies.
• Manage customer escalations and ensure timely, effective resolution of service concerns.
• Develop and implement scalable systems, processes, and best practices that support operational excellence and future growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and overall business performance.
• Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who supports both field and office teams.
• Play a key role in developing future leaders and building the organizational structure necessary to support a growing business.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of leadership experience within home services, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, field service, construction, or related operational environments.
• Proven success leading teams, developing talent, and delivering measurable business results.
• Experience leading HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical service teams strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and retain high-performing field teams.
• Strong understanding of home services operations, field team management, customer experience, and performance-driven cultures.
• Strong knowledge of operational metrics and a track record of driving performance improvements.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and employee development.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management platforms is preferred.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to spend time in the field coaching and supporting team members.
