Delivery Specialist

Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. Premiums and performance bonuses may add to the base rate. Premiums can be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, upkeep, and required inspections before each shift. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips. Collect money from C.O.D. deliveries. Communicate problem or special needs to store management. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately to store manager. Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock, and secure vehicle at end of day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, and other general tasks as assigned. Occasionally serve as a cashier and help with merchandising when business requires. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities Quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations. Maintain a driving record acceptable to the company’s 14/18-point system. Hold a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with automotive parts. Experience operating light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
