Moving Truck Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused professional to support the timely transport of household, commercial, or specialty items using a moving truck. This position plays an important role in ensuring items are loaded, transported, and delivered with care, while providing a positive experience for customers throughout the moving process.

Responsibilities

• Operate a moving truck safely and in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver customer belongings in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with loading, securing, and unloading items to help prevent damage during transit.
• Use appropriate equipment and techniques to move heavy or fragile items safely.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery details, and other required documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, team members, and customers as needed.
• Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards throughout each move.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating moving trucks, box trucks, or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items as part of daily work.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer service.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and safe loading practices.
