Position Purpose:ThisProgram Manager IIwill be providing leadership and supervision in a team environment, with frequent opportunities for customer engagement, new business development, concept design, mission formulation, system analysis, detailed design, analysis, integration, and test, plus orbit operations.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $150,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

On-site position at our Lafayette, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

JobResponsibilities:

• ProgrammanagementresponsibilityforSpacehardwaremissionsforCommercial, Defense, Restricted, or NASA satellites.

• Program execution in all phases of the program life cycle (business development, mission formulation,requirementsflow - down,manufacturing,integrationandtest,andon -orbitoperations)

• Systemdesignbalancingperformance,emergingtechnologies,schedule,risk,andcost

• Encourage, council, mentor, and lead program teams thru program evolution, milestones,challenges,and successes.

• Prepare,present, and manage for successful conclusionmajorprogrammilestone reviews

• Manage /performtradestudiesbalancing cost, schedule and technical requirementsandparametricanalyses

• Evaluationofexistingandemergingtechnologies

• Develop,review,andnegotiateprocurementdocuments(specification,SOW)and manage subcontracts

• Workcloselywithcustomerstohelprefinetheirneedsandprovideinnovativeandcompetitivesolutions

• Support and help evolve the spacecraft andcomponentproduct line offerings

• Generateandmaintainprogramintegratedmasterschedule(IMS)

• Generate andmaintainprogram budgets and forecasts, includingfinancial, technical, and schedule risk and opportunity positions

• Executeflightprogramsthatmeettechnicalandcostobligations

• Workcloselywithothercontractors/teammates/partnersinmeetingcustomerneeds

• Collaboratecloselywithtechnicalprogramleadsanddiversedomainexpertise

• Ensureallbusinessisconductedusingthehighestethicalstandardsandincompliancewithall applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives

• Otherresponsibilitiesasassigned

RequiredQualifications/Education:

• 5-10yearsofrelevantexperience

• BachelorsdegreeinEngineering,orBusiness Management with Engineering background.

• Good documentation and communication skills

• Strongsystemsengineeringandtechnicalmanagementskillsanddemonstratedabilitytogrow new business opportunities and execute demanding flight programs

• Abilitytoworkrapidlywithminimalsupervisiononprojectsinvolvingbothsmallandlarge engineering teams

• Previousexperienceandskillsinprojectdefinition,simulation,implementation,labintegrationand test

• Mustbeabletoworkinahighlycollaborative,fast - pacedenvironmentwithemphasisinrapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities

• Relatedtechnicalexperiencemaybeconsideredinlieuof education

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
