Cardiology Physician

A Staff MD Cardiologist opportunity is available in Brattleboro offering a full-time, primarily outpatient noninvasive cardiology practice within a collaborative multispecialty medical group. This role focuses on diagnostic cardiology, continuity of care, and patient-centered cardiovascular management in a well-supported clinical environment with no overnight or weekend call responsibilities.

• Full-time employed physician position
• Primarily outpatient cardiology practice
• Structured weekday clinic schedule during standard office hours
• No overnight or weekend call requirements

  • New graduates with less than 1 year of experience
  • Candidates planning to hold another concurrent position

• Provide outpatient noninvasive cardiology care
• Manage a patient panel collaboratively with:
  • One physician
  • Two Advanced Practice Providers
• Perform and interpret:
  • EKGs
  • Ambulatory cardiac monitoring studies
  • Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)
• Potential opportunity to perform:
  • Nuclear stress testing
  • Stress echocardiography
• Device management experience preferred but not required
• Coordinate patient care with referral centers for:
  • Inpatient cardiology care
  • Advanced cardiovascular services
• Maintain:
  • High-quality patient care
  • Accurate documentation
  • Diagnostic accuracy
  • Patient safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and administrative teams across specialties including:
  • Internal Medicine
  • Neurology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Other medical group specialties
• Participate in continuity of care initiatives and referral coordination

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology required
• Board-eligible candidates must provide graduation date
• Current Vermont medical license required or willingness to obtain
• DEA certification required prior to start
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days required at presentation
• Strong diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams required
