Requisition Details Requisition ID: 931940 Store # : 008677 OP Boston Position: Full-Time General Function The Licensed Optician assists in leading the Luxury Retail store to success by building and maintaining a strong client following, consistently delivering an exceptional experience to exceed service and sales expectations, and supporting the Store Manager in ensuring all optical quality controls are in compliance. Major Duties and Responsibilities Maintain extremely high standards of sales and service. Meet and exceed all client service and sales standards by consistently delivering an exceptional experience. Connect with and develop strong relationships with customers to build a strong client following. Expertly guide customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their lifestyle, wardrobe, RX, and price needs. Demonstrate flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing all details. Ensure finished eyewear meets the Luxury Retail standard of flawless accuracy. Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales. Maintain presentation standards both on the sales floor and in the back office. Maintain inventory controls. Understand and support all Luxury Retail policies and procedures. Train and mentor Managers and Associates. Support set-up and execution of all events. Exemplify Luxottica Retail vision, mission, and values; celebrate wins; lead by example. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma. State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician. 2+ years of sales experience in the luxury service industry. Knowledge of current optical theory and practices. Natural ability in building a client following. Polished appearance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Resourceful and result‑driven. Computer skills. Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours including evenings and weekends. Pay Range $33.69 - $39.02 per hour.
