Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technician

License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
Certifications: BLS, ARDMS (required prior to start date)


Must-Have:
- Ability to perform OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, vascular, and head/neck exams
- Willingness to float to other areas when needed


Description:
Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID is required.
A utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address within the last three months is necessary.
The address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility.
No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted.
Candidates will be required to perform OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, vascular, and head/neck exams.
Certifications required include BLS and ARDMS, which must be obtained prior to the start date.
All candidates must be willing to float to other areas, even if that involves other facilities, within a 75-mile radius.
No local travelers will be accepted.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year separation from previous employment within the organization to be eligible for submission.
All submissions must include two supervisory references.
Daily patient census is estimated to be between 10-12 with an average of six visits per day.
The unit has three exam rooms and supports a diverse patient age group including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Candidates will utilize advanced ultrasound equipment for standard and specialized procedures.
All submissions must comply with the specified policies regarding floating, time off, and submission requirements.
