Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit managing labor, cesarean section, pre-eclampsia, antepartum complications, and infant of diabetic mother (IDM) cases
• Circulate in the OR for C-Sections — required for all candidates
• Titrate drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate per provider orders
• Independently read and interpret fetal monitor strips using the GE Corometrics EFM system
• Float to Postpartum as needed; may float within the broader zone of affiliated units in cases of extreme staffing need
• Participate in an on-call requirement of approximately 18 hours per 6-week scheduling cycle, signed up in 6-hour increments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
• Experience titrating drips (oxytocin, magnesium sulfate)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing and practice guidelines
• Experience working in a high-volume unit (approximately 2,900 births/year)
• Comfort working alongside surgical techs and APPs in a collaborative care environment
• Prior experience with self-scheduling processes in a travel or contract setting
