Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What you'll do… Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborating with cross‑functional teams and helping educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understanding and planning future productions and mass productions; preparing for seasonality; adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; managing high exposure and expectations; stocking and rotating merchandise; ensuring quality and date control standards; eliminating waste; guiding peers and attending to customer needs. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acting as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying them in executing business processes. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities. Successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired. Preferred Qualifications Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
