We’re looking for an experienced packaging operator/mechanic who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in keeping equipment running and product moving safely and efficiently.This role is ideal for someone who can confidently operate packaging equipment while also stepping in to perform basic maintenance and support bulk load-out activities.What You’ll DoAs a Packaging Operator/Mechanic, you’ll serve as a key technical resource on the shift. Responsibilities include:Operating and monitoring packaging and bulk load-out equipment to keep production running smoothlyPerforming basic mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on pack line equipmentSupporting bulk load-out and warehouse activities, including forklift operation and loading/unloading shipmentsIdentifying and resolving equipment or process issues before they impact productionCompleting quality checks, sample preparation, and required production paperworkEntering shipment and production data accurately in internal systemsPerforming deep cleaning and sanitation between production runsCollaborating with maintenance and operations teams to improve reliability and efficiencyContinuing to grow your technical skills through ongoing training and developmentWhat We’re Looking For High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (technical or mechanical training strongly preferred)Prior manufacturing experience, ideally in a food-safe or regulated environmentDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment or perform basic maintenance tasksForklift experience required (or willingness to certify quickly)Comfortable working independently and serving as a go-to operator on the shiftStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 55 lbs, climb ladders, and work in hot, cold, or dusty conditionsCommitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvementReady to take the next step into a more skilled, hands-on operator role?
