CFO - Non-Profit Organization & Hybrid in DC! Location: Alexandria, Virginia Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote) Pay: $75‑82/hr (contract); permanent salary $150‑160k Schedule: Mon‑Fri 8:00‑17:00 About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a non‑profit in DC focused on the performing arts. Due to a retirement, this role will provide strategic financial leadership. Overview of the CFO role: Provides strategic management of the accounting and finance functions. Directs accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Recommends improvements to ensure the integrity of the company's financial reporting. Collaborates with the chief information officer on technology decisions. Oversees financial systems implementations and upgrades. Manages relationships with investors and investment institutions. Identifies and manages business risks and insurance requirements. Leads and supervises accounting and finance staff. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred. CPA is a plus.
