ESL Non-Credit - Workforce Development Instructor (PooledPosition) Instructor responsibilities include creating and teaching coursesin English Language Learning for Workforce Development, ContinuingProfessional Education, from Early Beginner through Advancedstudents. Class schedules may include day, evening or weekendschedules. Qualifications - Education Bachelor’s or higher degree in ESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, orrelated field. Professional designations or certifications asappropriate to content being taught required. Qualifications - Experience At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience withnon-traditional adult students preferred. 3+ years professional work experience in the subject matter. Qualifications - Skills Ability to work with all groups of students. Strong presentation,verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use technologyin education. Bilingual/multi-lingual skills may be beneficialbased on students’ proficiency level. Demonstrated knowledge ofdiscipline including current developments and technologies inrelated field of specialization. Work Hours Class schedules may include day, evening or weekend schedules.
