Procurement Specialist at AtotechAs a Procurement Specialist at Atotech, an MKS company, you will partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Finance, and suppliers to procure raw materials, resale products, and services that support production requirements while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:Develop and implement procurement strategies to acquire raw materials, resale products, and services that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirementsConduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, products, and servicesNegotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditionsPrepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresReview and act upon MRP messages and ERP reports to support material availability and production requirementsMonitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and servicesResolve issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays, material shortages, invoicing discrepancies, and quality concernsIdentify and develop new and alternate sources of supply to support business continuity and mitigate supply riskMaintain accurate procurement records and supplier information, including pricing, lead times, and delivery schedulesCollaborate with manufacturing, planning, quality, and finance to support operational and business objectivesSupport inventory optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiativesSkills You Bring:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience2+ years of related experienceExperience with chemicalsExperience with SAPPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time. Ability to remain in a stationary position for 90-100% of the time. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Operates in a professional office environment.
