That may seem simple, but there's actually quite a bit more involved in being a Food Runner including these major duties and responsibilities:Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accuratelyUphold sanitation and food safety principlesBus tables by removing dirty dishes and trashCheck in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactoryRelay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant partiesEnsure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their foodAssist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorationsHandle various impromptu requests from customersPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Must be mobile and able to move throughout all areas of the restaurant.Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and climb as needed.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
