Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified ICU Nurse with NY license to provide specialized care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. The role involves managing critically ill patients with complex conditions, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and cardiac emergencies.
• Utilize EPIC charting system effectively to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient status continuously, respond to changes in condition, and escalate care as needed.
• Administer treatments including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella support devices.
• Complete required modules and documentation within billing guidelines, ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY license with in-hand verification to submit for assignment.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience in a similar critical care setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Be able to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and adapt to floating across units.
• Comply with travel policies, including Tier 2 travel compliance and system-wide background review.
• Be willing to travel more than 75 miles for assignment.
