About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of School to serve as a visionary leader and builder, with a strong focus on community engagement and student enrollment growth. This role requires a steady, calming presence who champions a grace-based, restorative approach to discipline and connects learning to the school's mission. The Head of School will also be the primary fundraiser, leading a significant capital campaign, and must be a committed Christian, affirming the school's statement of faith, while being comfortable in a theologically diverse environment. Candidates for the Head of School position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and at least 7-10 years' of experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role. A background in K-12 education, particularly in a Christian setting, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a teaching background, a strong Christian foundation, and a leadership style that is strong, patient, and steady. They must be adept at establishing clear administrative systems, maintaining a visible presence in the community, and supporting staff in a collaborative and discerning manner. The role also involves partnering with the Board in key operational activities and overseeing the spiritual formation of the school community.
