Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
