Talent Acquisition Specialist – Hospitality 3-Month Contract | Onsite | Lawrence, MA Compensation: $28-$34/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 30-40 hours per week Location: Lawrence, MA | 100% Onsite Employment Type: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Placement) About the Opportunity We are partnering with a highly respected, privately held investment and development firm with a diverse portfolio spanning hospitality, restaurants, commercial real estate, and other business ventures. Known for its professional, entrepreneurial culture and commitment to excellence, this organization is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide immediate coverage during a leave of absence. The primary focus of this position will be supporting the organization's hospitality and restaurant division , recruiting for positions ranging from bartenders, servers, and culinary staff to restaurant management and operational leadership. The ideal candidate brings direct hospitality recruiting experience; however, we are equally interested in candidates with a strong background in high-volume staffing, agency recruiting, or multi-location workforce recruitment. Key Responsibilities Own full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hospitality and restaurant positions, including bartenders, servers, cooks, pizza makers, general managers, and additional operational roles. Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously across various restaurant locations, ensuring timely hiring and consistent communication. Proactively source, screen, interview, and engage candidates through Indeed, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, anticipate hiring needs, and develop effective recruitment strategies. Coordinate interviews, manage candidate pipelines, and maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Maintain accurate recruiting records and provide timely updates on hiring activity and open positions. Support additional HR functions as needed, including employee inquiries, HR policies, benefits administration, and general employee relations matters. Work collaboratively with a lean HR team while independently managing day-to-day recruiting priorities. What We're Looking For 2-3+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurants, or high-volume staffing environments. Hospitality recruiting experience strongly preferred, particularly with hourly, frontline, and management-level positions. Candidates with high-volume agency staffing or recruiting experience across multiple locations are also encouraged to apply. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver quality candidates in a fast-moving environment. Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed and other recruitment platforms. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally across all organizational levels. Polished, proactive, and highly organized, with excellent follow-through and attention to detail. A self-starter who can quickly adapt, take ownership, and operate independently with minimal oversight. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Experience with Paylocity, Toast, or other HRIS/onboarding platforms is a plus. Bachelor's degree is not required. Why This Opportunity?
