In this hands-on management role, you will oversee all aspects of an energy program and will work closely with both clients and our energy professionals to achieve client energy efficiency goals and other program objectives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Actively engage in talent management process, including interviewing, resource planning and utilization, engagement planning, performance evaluations, and moreProvide client communications and reportingOversee program operations to ensure client requirements are metSupport partner and client contract management processEstablish solid and trusted relationships with client program team, penetrating client organizations, collaborates with Senior Leadership regarding developing and expanding client, penetrating client organization with solid relationships builtEstablish and maintain opportunities for community engagement, such as establishing relationships with community colleges, utilities, condo associations, etc.Lead and support company-wide Safety effortsOrchestrate partnership and work between centralized functions and program staffActing as a company stakeholder by leading and supporting company trainings, development, safety initiatives, and moreIdentify and develop talentsDevelop and deliver polished and prepared client presentations; responds to client questions with confidence and accuracyEnsure successful delivery of program goals as indicated in Statement of WorkDevelop and manage production plan for programMonitor and manage program budgets to ensure full utilization of funds while meeting or exceeding energy goalsPrepare monthly invoices and activity reports as required to the client, partner or company management by the requested due dateManaging multiple or joint utility programsReport out on program performance and financial metrics to make recommendations to the utility and clientProficient financial acumen and program strategy skillsetAssisting Business Development with collaboration and sharing of expertise on sector-based program design, program re-bids, and client expansionsRecognize when issues are occurring and take proper steps towards resolutionPosition RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalent work experience requiredBackground in engineering, technology or science and experience in working in a technical environment – preferredExperience in lighting, HVAC, and other technologies installed applications – preferredTechnical experience in developing and/or reviewing energy savings calculations to determine paybacks and incentive levels for customers – preferred4 or more years of management experience or 2 or more years of experience in managing energy efficiency programsProven track record of high-level performance in meeting and exceeding expectations and goalsRequired Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesProven Leadership in fast paced environmentHave an ability to prioritize workload and delegate appropriate work assignments to staffAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and written with customers, clients and employeesSales or business development background a plusAbility to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problemsCommitted to diversity and inclusionLicenses & CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP)- preferredTravel RequirementsWillingness to travel up to 40%Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.An Equal Opportunity EmployerSafety -Sensitive Role Addendum: Because many roles at Franklin Energy involve regulatory compliance, safety responsibilities, or professional licensing requirements, it is critical that interview responses reflect the candidate's direct knowledge and experience.
