Interior Designer - Workplace

Your Role : As a Gensler Interior Designer, you combine creativity, technical knowledge, and business skills to create functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You bring exceptional design skills, a strong portfolio, and a commitment to collaborative, holistic design solutions. Responsibilities Program client needs and develop conceptual, schematic, and design‑development plans. Create space planning studies and final approved plans that meet client goals. Lead day‑to‑day project coordination, prioritizing deadlines and communicating with clients and consultants. Produce 2‑D and 3‑D presentation drawings to communicate design ideas. Select and present furniture, furnishings, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, lighting, and finishes. Prepare construction documentation and conduct construction administration, including review of submittals, finish samples, and value engineering. Collaborate with contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to achieve project objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related accredited program. 8+ years of interior design experience. NCIDQ or CID certification required. LEED accreditation is a plus. Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications. Excellent rendering and visual communication skills. Self‑starting, intelligent, dedicated, efficient, and passionate about holistic FF&E design deliverables. Benefits & Compensation Base salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on experience.
