Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: $88,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, security management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related function.
• Hands-on background in incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Working knowledge of endpoint monitoring, email security, vulnerability scanning, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Solid understanding of cloud, network, and infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to evaluate risk, prioritize threats, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Preferred certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GMON, or comparable cybersecurity credentials.
• Broad knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, PKI, IAM, antivirus, firewalls, EDR, DLP, security automation, deception tools, and application controls.
• Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, controls, business processes, and the use of technology in agriculture and financial services.

• Monitor and assess security events across networks, systems, cloud environments, and endpoints.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents, including triage, scoping, urgency assessment, and impact analysis.
• Perform vulnerability management, access reviews, incident troubleshooting, and cyber defense documentation.
• Use threat intelligence and security monitoring tools to strengthen defenses and identify suspicious activity.
• Support penetration testing, security audits, risk assessments, compliance efforts, and remediation planning.
• Recommend and help implement security improvements, patches, controls, and resilience measures.
• Contribute to security policies, standards, procedures, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
• Partner with the CISO and technology leaders to advance our cybersecurity strategy and incident response capabilities.
• Track incidents from detection through resolution and coordinate with internal or external stakeholders as needed.
• Assist with planning and execution of enterprise security architecture and related security programs.
