Job Description
The Retail Junior Assistant plays a vital role in supporting daily store operations by assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service and collaboration with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and organization
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support merchandising efforts to maintain attractive product displays
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization throughout the day
- Operate checkout systems and process sales transactions
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales and service goals
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in retail environments
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools
- Strong customer service and cash handling skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
