Job Title: Flux Core Welder

Pay: $30/hour

Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Monday through Friday

This role offers an experienced welder the opportunity to fabricate custom structural components used in bridge construction projects across the United States. You will perform high-quality welds using multiple processes, with a strong emphasis on flux core and gas-shielded welding, while working a consistent day shift in a steady 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on structural components, primarily using flux core and gas-shielded welding processes.
• Interpret and follow job specifications, drawings, and instructions to build custom pieces for bridge projects.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Execute occasional stick welding and sub arc welding when required by specific projects.
• Work with larger steel pieces and assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, fit-up, and weld integrity.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements and standards.

Essential Skills

• At least 10 years of professional welding experience.
• Strong proficiency in flux core welding, serving as the primary welding method.
• Hands-on experience with gas-shielded welding processes.
• Ability to perform stick welding when required.
• Ability to perform sub arc welding when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication or welding for bridge or heavy structural projects is a plus.
• Comfort working with a variety of welding processes depending on project needs.
• Proven reliability and consistent work history in manufacturing or fabrication environments.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coraopolis, PA.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Coraopolis,PA.
