As a Security Officer Overnight - Medical Facility in Lancaster SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols help to deter incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff while using technology to document activities and report security-related concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disruptive behavior and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings entrances parking areas and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control visitor management and directions while supporting a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Document incidents observations and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
