Senior Windows Administrator / Platform Engineer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• We need strong hands-on experience in Windows administration, including managing Windows Server environments and supporting Windows-based applications.
• We require familiarity with mission-critical enterprise tools such as IBM FileNet, DataCap, BAW, and ICN, including DataCap implementation and FileNet upgrade experience.
• We look for a solid understanding of network protocols, infrastructure services, and core security principles.
• We expect experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• We value scripting and automation skills, especially with tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
• We need excellent problem-solving ability to handle complex technical issues.
• We prefer strong project management capabilities and the ability to guide cross-functional efforts.
• We require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is expected.

• We manage and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• We ensure systems are patched, current, and secure.
• We provide support for Windows-based applications, diagnose issues, and help optimize performance and availability.
• We implement and oversee monitoring solutions to identify and resolve problems proactively.
• We develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and IT assets.
• We respond to and help mitigate security incidents.
• We create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, configurations, processes, and service records.
• We advise and collaborate with internal teams and external clients on IT solutions aligned with business goals.
• We stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to systems and processes.
