The 340B Program Manager serves as a key subject-matter expert, partnering cross-functionally with Pharmacy, Finance, and IT to ensure program integrity, optimize performance, and maximize financial impact across the enterprise. Location: Hybrid includes in-office and remote workdays. M-F Eastern Business hours with onsite meetings/audits planned for business needs in Somerville and Boston. Must be flexible.The Pharmacy 340B Program Manager is vital to the team and responsible for managing registration and participation in the 340B Program for all 340B covered entities and ensuring that all use of 340B throughout the organization is fully compliant. In this role, you'll have enterprise-wide visibility and impact, contributing to strategic planning and governance initiatives that shape the future of care delivery.QualificationsLead and oversee all aspects of the 340B program, including audit readiness, compliance, and regulatory adherenceDrive split-billing operations, data analytics, and enterprise-level reporting to ensure accuracy and maximize savingsDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to strengthen program performanceMonitor and optimize contract pharmacy relationships and performancePresent insights and recommendations to senior leadership across Pharmacy, Finance, and ComplianceWhat You BringDeep expertise in the 340B Drug Pricing ProgramStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExperience working in complex, large-scale health systemsProven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholdersQualificationsDoctor of Pharmacy Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Studies requiredPharmacy Managed Care Experience 5-7 years required340B experienceLicensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferredSkills for Success & Other DutiesStrong knowledge of 340B, supply chain, and pharmacy regulatory requirements (DPH, BORP, TJC, CMS, FDA, USP)Experience with health system supply chain operations and integrated EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner)Knowledge of hospital pharmacy systems and workflowsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead teams, manage priorities, and perform under pressureProven ability to drive accountability and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to effect collaborative alliances, promote teamwork and ensure a high degree of internal and external customer satisfaction.Ability to work as a team player or autonomously with strong organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with vendors and other departments to keep multiple tasks on track and bring projects successfully to completion.Maintains knowledge and expertise on Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, including new and proposed regulations, current trends and issues.Assesses potential organizational impact of 340B changes and ensures 340B program is continuously compliant with federal regulations.Develops and/or updates 340B policies and procedures whenever there is clarification to interpretation, or change in the rules, regulations, or guidelines to 340B requirements.Reviews 340B policies and procedures annually.Shares expertise and provides training, education, and communication to staff and Program participants regarding 340B Program compliance.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Working Model RequiredM-F Eastern Business HoursHybrid includes on-site and remote workdays, with planned in office workdays, ad hoc meetings and/or for business meetings/audits, must be flexible for business needs in Somerville and BostonA quiet, secure, compliant workspace is required for remote workdays, and will be viewed and confirmed via Microsoft Teams Video on day 1Management DutiesOversight of Mass General Brigham 340B Enterprise team; approximately 12 FTE of professional and technical staffRemote TypeHybridWork Location399 Revolution DriveScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$99,465.60 - $144,643.20/AnnualGrade8At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
