Direct Support Professional

Position Overview An Adult Residential Support Professional provides care, support, and monitoring to clients in a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility, promoting recovery and positive change. Key Responsibilities Support and interact with residents, modeling positive behaviors Record observations and maintain confidential reports Assist with medication monitoring and basic first aid Perform housekeeping, organize supplies, and support life skills activities Transport residents and assist with meal prep, shopping, and educational activities Identify emergencies and respond appropriately, supporting clinical treatment plans Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or coursework in social services preferred Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently, handle crisis situations, and follow directions Knowledge of computer systems for documentation and communication Additional Details The role involves physical activity and outdoor monitoring, with responsibilities including occasional travel.
