Senior Project Manager

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in driving projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results aligned with business objectives.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for complex initiatives, ensuring successful execution across scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and presentations.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics using project management tools.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and escalating when necessary.
• Oversee project budgets and resource planning, ensuring financial alignment and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines (including HIPAA).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, risks, and change requests.
• Partner with stakeholders to analyze challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects independently.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
• PMP, Six Sigma, or similar project management certification (or in progress).
• Experience working within healthcare systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts.
